Pav Bhaji Sliders
Pav Bhaji Sliders are a delicious and convenient twist on the classic Indian street food, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal or snack.
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns
- 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, bell peppers), boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
- Add pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Mix thoroughly and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in chopped cilantro and remove from heat.
- Cut the slider buns in half and lightly toast them.
- Spread a generous amount of the pav bhaji mixture on the bottom half of each bun.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve hot.
