Peanut Butter and Banana Bread (Tô)
Tô, a popular Malian dish, is a delicious peanut butter and banana bread that is perfect for breakfast or as a snack. It's easy to make and is sure to become a family favorite!
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, honey, coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve!
