Peanut Butter Dumplings (dovi Dumplings)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour with a pinch of salt and enough water to form a smooth dough. Divide the dough into small balls and set aside.
  2. In a separate pot, heat the peanut butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and spices. Cook for 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Gently drop the dough balls into the simmering sauce. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the peanut butter dumplings hot.
