Ingredients
- 1 cup peas
- 200g cottage cheese (paneer), cubed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
- Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for a minute.
- Add the peas and cubed cottage cheese. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the pan. Stir continuously to avoid curdling.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the peas are tender and the curry has thickened.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
