Ingredients
- 1 whole duck, cut into pieces
- 2 cups long-grain white rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 cup beer
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the duck pieces with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and turmeric.
- In a large pot, brown the duck pieces over medium heat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the duck is tender.
- Sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.
