Peshawari Chapshoro (پشاوری چپشورو)

Ingredients

  • 500g minced beef
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 naan bread or roti, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Sauté until they start to crackle.
  2. Add onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
  3. Stir in the minced beef and cook until it changes color.
  4. Add tomatoes, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the mixture is well combined.
  5. Make 4 wells in the mixture and crack an egg into each well. Cover the pan and cook until the eggs are set to your liking.
  6. Serve hot with naan bread or roti.
