Ingredients
- 500g mutton, cut into pieces
- 4 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a karahi or deep skillet over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add mutton pieces and cook until they turn brown.
- Stir in ginger and garlic paste, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, yogurt, and all the spices. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates.
- Add green chilies and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
