Ingredients

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 7g active dry yeast
  • 250ml warm milk
  • 80g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 kg fresh plums, pitted and halved
  • 50g sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the flour, sugar, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the dough and transfer it to a greased baking sheet.
  4. Arrange the plum halves on top of the dough, then sprinkle with sliced almonds and sugar.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Let it cool before serving.
