Ingredients
- 500g pork belly, thinly sliced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4-5 dried red chilies, soaked and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger, garlic, and dried red chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the pork slices and cook until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in the turmeric, cumin, and coriander powder. Mix well.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and the oil separates.
- Season with salt and cook for a few more minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or traditional Bhutanese red rice.
