Ingredients
- 500g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Now, add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Stir in the coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and mix well with the masala. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
