Ingredients

  • 200g dried mopane worms
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the dried mopane worms in water for 10 minutes, then drain and rinse them.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic until golden brown.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, paprika, coriander, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the soaked mopane worms to the pan and stir well. Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the mopane worms are tender, remove from heat and serve hot.
