Ingredients
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups water
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic, sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add diced potatoes, chopped carrots, and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Add chopped spinach and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
