Ingredients

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Brush the edges with beaten egg, then fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal.
- Using a pair of kitchen scissors, make small cuts around the edge of the dumpling, creating a frilled effect to resemble a nest.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the dumplings and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
