Piñón Passion (Pasión de Piñón)

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Season with cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the tomato sauce to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
