Ingredients
- 400g fresh yellow noodles
- 200g fish fillet, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 stalks lemongrass, bruised
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
- 4 red chilies, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp tamarind paste
- 1 Tbsp palm sugar
- 1 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 liter water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Boil the water in a pot and add lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, garlic, and chilies. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the fish fillet, tomatoes, tamarind paste, and palm sugar. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Season with fish sauce and salt. Add the fresh noodles and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
