- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and cubed butter. Use your fingers to rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add the cold water and mix until a dough forms. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed pineapple, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface and cut out circles using a cookie cutter.
- Place a spoonful of the pineapple filling in the center of each circle, then fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Place the tarts on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the tarts to cool before serving.
