Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix well and pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. In a separate bowl, mix together 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir in the milk until smooth. Pour this mixture over the melted butter, but do not stir.
- Spoon the peach mixture over the batter. Do not stir. The batter will rise to the top during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
