Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into thick fries
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 hot peppers, sliced
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, halved
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, sliced
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the potatoes and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove the potatoes and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, sauté the onion, tomatoes, bell pepper, and hot peppers until softened.
  4. Return the beef and potatoes to the skillet. Add the cooked sausage, vinegar, soy sauce, and ground cumin. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Transfer the pique macho to a serving platter and garnish with the hard-boiled eggs.
