Ingredients
- Fresh fish fillets
- Taro root, peeled and diced
- Coconut milk
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, grated
- Tomato, diced
- Curry powder
- Turmeric

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add curry powder and turmeric. Stir to combine.
- Add diced taro and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add fresh fish fillets and diced tomatoes. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Pis na Kaukau Kari hot with steamed rice.
