Pisupo (island Spice Chicken)

Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ground ginger, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them with the spice mixture. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken thighs and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until browned.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Serve the Island Spice Chicken hot and enjoy!
