Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 cups water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, green chilies, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, garlic, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and whisk to form a smooth batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add the batter to the pan.
  4. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and becomes a smooth, lump-free consistency.
  5. Once cooked, remove from heat and serve hot with bhakri or rice.
