Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced ham
- 1/2 cup sliced red bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced green olives
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Divide the dough in half and roll out each portion into a 12-inch circle.
- Spread tomato sauce over the dough, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Add ham, bell peppers, and olives. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Slice and serve hot.
