Ingredients

  • 500g pizza dough
  • 200g San Marzano tomato sauce
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 100g prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 50g grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Divide the pizza dough into two equal portions and shape each into a round pizza crust.
  3. Spread the San Marzano tomato sauce evenly over the pizza crusts.
  4. Top the pizzas with the mozzarella cheese and prosciutto.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese over the pizzas and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove the pizzas from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  8. Slice and serve hot.
