Ingredients
- 1 pound plums, pitted and halved
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- Arrange the plum halves in the prepared dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and frothy.
- Gradually add the milk, flour, vanilla extract, and salt, and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the plums in the dish.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is set and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
