Ingredients
- 6 ripe plums, pitted
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
- 6 sugar cubes
- Cinnamon sugar, for coating
Instructions
- Combine the mashed potatoes, flour, egg, and salt to form a dough.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and flatten each into a disc.
- Place a sugar cube in the center of each pitted plum.
- Wrap the dough around each plum, sealing it completely.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and gently drop the dumplings in.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the dumplings float to the surface.
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and roll them in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
