Pokhara Paneer Tikka
Pokhara Paneer Tikka is a popular Nepalese appetizer made with marinated paneer cubes, grilled to perfection. This dish is bursting with flavors and is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 500g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to make the marinade.
- Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Thread marinated paneer, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the skewers in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until paneer is golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and serve hot with mint chutney.
