Polar Bear Pie

Ingredients

  • 500g reindeer meat, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the reindeer meat over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and sliced mushrooms, and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Line a pie dish with one sheet of puff pastry.
  7. Pour the meat and vegetable mixture into the pie dish.
  8. Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry and seal the edges.
  9. Make a few slits on the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
