Polish Łazanki Surprise (Łazanki)

Ingredients
- 8 oz. wide egg noodles
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the skillet.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook until wilted.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and mix well with the cabbage and onion mixture.
- Stir in the sour cream and cooked bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
