Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup ground poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, melted butter, milk, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ground poppy seeds, honey, chopped walnuts, and raisins to make the filling.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the poppy seed filling evenly over the dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the roll is golden brown.
