Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 2 onions, sliced

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, paprika, and marjoram.
  3. Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat and brown the pork on all sides.
  4. Remove the pork from the pot and set aside.
  5. Add the sliced onions, garlic, and caraway seeds to the pot and cook until the onions are softened.
  6. Return the pork to the pot and add the chicken broth.
  7. Cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven. Roast for 2 hours, or until the pork is tender.
