Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the flour on a plate and season with salt and pepper. Dredge the chicken breasts in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess.

- Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the chopped basil and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and serve the chicken with the lemon basil sauce spooned over the top.
