Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs and drumsticks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken pieces on all sides, then remove from the pot and set aside.
  3. Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook until softened, then add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the wine and let it simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
