Pork Adobo (adobong Baboy)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork belly, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
  • 3 pieces bay leaves
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pork belly, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, and bay leaves. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marinated pork and cook until lightly browned.
