Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the pork cubes and cook until browned on all sides, then remove from the pot and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Stir in the paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper, and cook for another minute.
  5. Return the pork to the pot and add the tomato sauce and water.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour or until the pork is tender.
  7. Serve the pork in tomato sauce hot with your choice of side dishes.
