Ingredients
- 4 lbs pork shoulder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika

- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub the mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the chopped onion and minced garlic in the bottom of a roasting pan. Place the seasoned pork shoulder on top.
- Pour the chicken broth into the pan.
- Cover the roasting pan with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and continue roasting for an additional hour, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before shredding with two forks.
