Ingredients
- 1 kg pork, cut into cubes
- 1 cup axone (fermented soybean) sauce
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2-3 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
- Add the pork cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Stir in the axone sauce, green chilies, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the pork with the sauce and spices.
- Cover the pan and let the pork cook on low heat for about 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is tender and the flavors are well combined.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or bread.
