Ingredients

  • 500g ground reindeer meat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground reindeer meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, black pepper, thyme, and allspice. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a large pot.
  3. Cover the pot and cook the meatloaf over low heat for 2 hours, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the pot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Serve the reindeer meatloaf with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
