Ingredients

  • 500g reindeer meat, cubed
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 liter beef or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and brown the reindeer meat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in the carrots, potatoes, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in the broth and bring the stew to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the meat is tender and the vegetables are cooked, remove the bay leaves and serve the reindeer stew hot.
