Poropiirakka (reindeer Meatloaf)

Ingredients

  • 500g ground reindeer meat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground reindeer meat, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and press it down evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
