Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 500g puff pastry dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry dough and cut it into 6 equal squares.
- Place a generous amount of the meat filling in the center of each pastry square.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg, then fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- Place the pastries on a baking sheet, brush the tops with the remaining beaten egg, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the pastries cool for a few minutes before serving.
