Portoroz Grilled Sea Bream (Portoroški Grilovani Orada)

Ingredients

  • 1 whole sea bream, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Make 3 diagonal cuts on each side of the sea bream.
  3. Stuff the cavity of the fish with lemon slices and minced garlic.
  4. Brush the fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the sea bream for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
