Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 small cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and oil separates.
- Add turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the potatoes and cauliflower. Stir to coat the vegetables with the spices.
- Cover and cook on low heat until the potatoes and cauliflower are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
