Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the cubed potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Now, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and the oil separates.
- Sprinkle garam masala and mix gently. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
