Potato And Pea Samosas

Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup green peas, boiled
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 12 sheets of samosa pastry
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, heat some oil and add the cumin seeds. Once they start to sizzle, add the chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the mashed potatoes, boiled green peas, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the filling cool.
- Take a sheet of samosa pastry and fold it into a cone shape. Fill the cone with the potato and pea filling and seal the edges using a flour-water paste.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the potato and pea samosas hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
