Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup peas
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon green chili, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add ginger paste and green chili. Sauté for a minute.
- Add the cubed potatoes and peas. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the water, cover the pan, and let the curry simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with roti or rice.
