Ingredients

  • 2 pre-made pizza crusts
  • 2 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup poppy seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pan, dry roast the poppy seeds until they turn slightly golden and aromatic. Grind them into a fine paste using a food processor or mortar and pestle.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until they turn translucent.
  3. Add the green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the poppy seed paste and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Spread the poppy seed paste evenly on the pre-made pizza crusts.
  7. Arrange the thinly sliced potatoes on top of the poppy seed paste.
  8. Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the potatoes are cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
