Ingredients

  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a dry pan, roast the poppy seeds until they turn slightly golden and aromatic. Grind them into a fine paste using a mortar and pestle or a food processor.

  5. Add water to the pan, cover it, and let the potatoes cook until they are tender.
  6. Once the potatoes are cooked, remove the lid and cook for a few more minutes to thicken the gravy.
