Poulet Yassa (grilled Fish With Lemon And Herbs)

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (such as tilapia or sea bass)
  • 4 lemons, juiced
  • 4 onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice, sliced onions, minced garlic, vegetable oil, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover the bowl and let the fish marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has grill marks.
  4. While the fish is grilling, pour the marinade into a saucepan and simmer for 10-15 minutes to create a flavorful sauce.
  5. Once the fish is done, transfer it to a serving platter and pour the warm sauce over the fish. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
