Ingredients
- 500g prawns, shells and heads removed
- 300g yellow noodles
- 1 liter chicken stock
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 2 tablespoons chili paste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- Chopped spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a pot and sauté the garlic and shallots until fragrant.
- Add the chili paste and stir-fry for a minute.
- Pour in the chicken stock and bring it to a boil.
- Add the prawns, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cook the yellow noodles according to the package instructions.
- Divide the noodles into serving bowls and ladle the prawn soup over the noodles.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
