Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1-inch ginger, julienned
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan and sauté the onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic until the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
